Good news.
I found a certain memory card containing some disappointing and some surprising pictures from a certain Guelph music festival. I will be posting pictures if and when I go back to Seoul. I'm in Busan still, for the sixth day on 2 days worth of clothes. It's nice to be able to swim in this heat, Shawn's place is so close to the beach, but I haven't yet gotten used to the salty taste of the water when I dive under. I'm starting to wonder if I haven't done something completely stupid and/or ridiculous by coming here. I'm having fun though. We go out like every night because most people only work like 5 hours a day. There's a bar across the street called U2 that is pretty cool, and its only $3 pints. Soju, this Korean liquor is cheaper than the juice you mix it with. It's only 20% so you can mix like half and half drinks and not taste it. The first night I was in Busan we went to this cave bar, literally. It was in a cave, I got some cool pictures. It was nice and cool in there, but everything was moist and the air was heavy with water. The table and seats were carved out of the stone floors, and they were too small for me to sit comfortably at. We drank something that looked like soup. It was some sort of rice wine deal, I tried bondaeggi, which is silkworm larvae and is classic Korean bar food. Korea is pretty cool, and not that different than home, except for the people and language and stuff. You can get booze anywhere and drink it anywhere, they usually have patio furniture on the streets outside of convenience stores to drink at. I have no long term plans, or immediate plans for that matter, as per usual, though it would probably be smart to figure out what I'm going to be doing here for the next five and three quarter months.
